What’s the process for getting adult braces?

Your adult braces journey begins with a consultation at Duval Orthodontics. Your orthodontist uses intraoral scanning to assess the alignment of your teeth and bite, then works with you to determine which type of adult braces are best for your particular condition, preferences, and budget. With most adult braces, you come into Duval Orthodontics periodically to have your orthodontist check up on your progress and tighten your archwire. Depending on the type of braces you get and the condition you’re correcting, treatment can be completed anywhere between a few months and a few years.
