J. A. Duval, DDS, is a highly skilled orthodontist who makes beautiful and healthy smiles for his patients at Duval Orthodontics in Albany, and Warner Robins, Georgia.
Dr. Duval is a Macon, Georgia native who graduated from Morehouse College in Atlanta. He earned his dental degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, and completed his orthodontic residency at Howard University in Washington DC, where he received his orthodontic certification.
Dr. Duval continues to learn, refine his skillset, and stay up-to-date on technological developments through continuing education courses, like those in Invisalign®, Damon®, and Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs). He’s currently a member of the George Dental Society, the Georgia Dental Association, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, and the American Association of Orthodontists.
In his work at Duval Orthodontics, Dr. Duval is focused on exceeding his patients’ expectations and making dramatic differences in their lives. He has a strong passion for the unification of art and science that’s so fundamental to orthodontics and enjoys giving patients smiles that are as beautiful as they are healthy and functional.
Outside of Duval Orthodontics, Dr. Duval teaches orthodontic assisting at the Orthodontic Assistant School of Atlanta. He also devotes time to helping his community through volunteer work, participating in Help A Child Smile, Greater Travelers Rest Youth Smiles, and numerous mentoring programs.
In his free time, Dr. Duval likes to spend time with family and friends, play tennis and basketball, and travel.
